LET'S OPTIMIZE CLEANING bedroom's

A neat and clean bedroom.

Experts say it is important to have a relaxing bedroom to sleep in. It can be important to our health and functionality. One thing we can do is to keep our space organized and clean. So, let's take a look at some ways to organize our bedrooms to optimize cleaning them.

To make it easier to keep up with dusting, vacuuming and the like, having fewer things in the way makes it easier and faster to do the chore. Then keeping what you do have in containers, simplifies the work and makes it less of a hassle. Say you have a nightstand. On it you have a lamp, pair of books, a glass of water, and a few little odds and ends. If you try to run a duster around them, typically it is difficult to get all the dust. And it is very easy to knock something off the stand. Then you are using more time and energy to pick the item back up. Or you end-up leave it on the floor because it rolled to an out of reach corner and you don't feel like picking it up now. Then you keep forgetting up need to pick it up latter.

Then pitcher having most of those items neatly in a basket. You can pick up the basket, move it to the bed then pick up each of the last couple of items to dust under. This goes much quicker and makes it not such a tedious chore. Just remember to clean out the basket once in a while.

Dirty Clothes

Another aera that can be an eyesore is that some people have a habit of throwing their clothes they wore that day in a heap on the floor. To salve this eyesore try having an open laundry basket there. If you have one there and another in the bathroom and another in kids' room, etc. that is alright. If that is what it takes to feel organized and make cleaning easier. Just teach everyone that on wash day, they need to dump the baskets into a localized one. Just bring the one from the bathroom into the hallway and have everyone dump theirs into this one for you to carry to the laundry. Or if someone's basket is full, have them carry theirs to the laundry. Then, when folding laundry, try having collapsible baskets, one for each person, stored where you take the time to fold them. This way you can set the contained folded laundry on the stairs or wherever it is right in the path of who it belongs to, for them to put away in their bedrooms.

Conclusion

Sometimes organization is just the little habits we need to teach ourselves and our household to do. And practice makes perfect. So, you can't let yourself give in because eventually these tidbits will become normal habits that everyone does without much thought.

Everyone has different circumstances. That can be one reason it may be beneficial to hire a professional organizer to help you think of what will work best for you and your circumstance. Here at Neatly Done Life we would love to help you in any way we can and look forward to working with you.
